About The Captain: Ray Culver
Capt. Ray Culver Is the owner/operator of Gulf Coast Fishing Charters and a licensed U.S.C.G Captain. As a Florida native and 3rd generation Fishing Guide, He has over 25 years of fishing experience. He began fishing at the age of five and grew up fishing the 10,000 islands where he learned from one of the best captains in area his father the original Capt. Ray. He began fishing tournaments at a young age and by the age of 16 was fishing professionally on the FLW Redfish Tour and IFA Redfish Tour. Now he fishes many large tournaments throughout the entire state of Florida. This is where he has built a network of the best guides on the west coast. He learned how to fish the Tampa Bay area in depth while attending University of South Florida eight years ago. Since then, he has been able to work with several different fishing companies which includes: Salinity Fishing Gear, Everglades Fishing Co, Yeti, Bajio Sunglasses, Bubba Blade ,Yo-Zuri, Z-man, BlackPearl Cast Nets, Florida Fishing Products, and Bull Bay Rods.
